Who we're looking for:
We're looking for a RoverGO Sitter Acquisition Specialist to join the RoverGO Acquisition team. The RoverGO program helps qualified sitters launch and grow their personal pet sitting and walking businesses through expert coaching and support. You'll primarily be responsible for screening, coaching, and mentoring a selected group of pet sitters to develop their website presence, manage their growing businesses, and hone their abilities to become highly trusted pet care providers to the owners who use their services. Ideally, you'll also have experience with sales, customer service, interviewing/onboarding remote workers, and/or mentoring.
You'll succeed in this role if you are empathetic to our customers’ needs and make sure to always go above and beyond to help them reach their business goals. You will clearly articulate the benefits of upgrading sitters’ profiles to participate in the RoverGO program. You become the sitter’s trusted expert to guide them into the Rover marketplace. You are a supportive, collaborative business friend to the exceptional sitters for whom you bring onto the site. You take the initiative to improve yourself and Rover and are motivated by metrics and goals. You possess high energy, a strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive “can-do” attitude over the phone and in person. You see your coworkers as a family, not just a team. You bring your unique experiences and passions to your job every day.
